MATTHEW DAY JACKSON BIOGRAFÍA
 
Matthew Day Jackson (born 1974) is an American painter, collage artist and sculptor. Jackson received a BFA from the University of Washington in Seattle and an MFA from Rutgers University. His work has been shown at Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art in Boulder, Colorado, the Portland Museum of Art Biennial in Portland, Maine and the Whitney Biennial Day for Night in New York. His solo exhibitions include "By No Means Necessary" at the Chinati Foundation, in Marfa, where he was in residence in June 2004 and a 2005 exhibition at the Perry Rubenstein Gallery in New York. From October 17, 2009 to January 17, 2010, Jackson's work was featured at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
