Art Brokerage was one of the first dealers for artist Marcus Jansen. Born 1968 in Manhattan New York City, Artist Marcus Antonius Jansen is a Leader of Modern Urban Expressionism in the 21st. Century, This award winning painter managed to change his career from a Gulf War Soldier to transforming ordinary gray streets into some of the most charactaristic pieces of art to date. Applying the Military motto: "Attention to detail" to his surroundings, he manages to shine a new light on our urban environments sharing his own story with his audience through objects that surround us. Jansen's works are included in collections such as the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art, the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, The Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) and the New Britain Museum of American Art. A juxtapositioning of sophisticated, complex and inspiring works for more than 10 years since his military discharge, continuously pushing the boundaries of his medium and subject.
