John Enright presently lives in Arizona, USA. He completed four years of formal education after which he attended the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. After completing his degree he was hired as an Art Director by an association. John Enright then decided to move towards Commercial Art and was commissioned by various corporations, movies, recording and publishing organizations. After trying his hand in all these fields, he then started painting for himself; to satisfy his own heart and soul. Later he shifted his attention from traditional areas to classics and to contemporary trends and methods. Presently, he is trying to merge the two dimensional forms with three-dimensional forms and as a result the paintings are largely resembling sculptures. Many of his new works contain mixed media and implicit imagery, material and methods. John Enright uses very dynamic and bright colors in his paintings as it allows him to pour down his inner feelings. Some of the well-known acrylic paintings of John Enright include Cathedral of Light, Pharaoh's Dream, Isle of the Silent Guardians, Discovery, Hanalei Sunrise, Island of the Silent Guardians, Petra, Lost City Beneath the Sea, Sunken Treasure Galleon, Sanctuary of the Dolphin and Talkin' Story among many others. He has also done many mixed media, digital printing, watercolor and oil paintings. John Enright has participated in various solo as well as group exhibitions.
