ELEONORE GUINTHER BIOGRAFÍA

B. 1947 Many of Eleonore Guinther's canvases are open-air studies of the shores of Yugoslavia and Denmark. At the age of 20, Eleonore Guinther had her official debut in the art business, and dealers and collectors became aware of her famous "boats within a scenery of a Mediterranean harbour", a result of her open-air studies at the shores of Yugoslavia and Denmark. Yet, Guinther received worldwide fame for her stunning landscape creations. Hue upon hue play off the other, damping, dissolving reciprocally towards tonaity and with exciting distribution of light and shade. Eleonore Guinther continues to paint today, she is married to the painter Bernd Gagel.
