CARIN PALCER BIOGRAFÍA

Art Brokerage: Carin Palcer was born January 3, 1966 in Vienna, Austria, and studied at the University for Applied Arts in Vienna, and later at F.I.D.M. Design and Marketing College, Los Angeles. Palcer is convinced that each color gives off its own energy, and that this energy has healing powers. The artist pushes this quest even further, however, by combining various forms into a kind of algorithm: a sun can be seen to rise, reach its Zenith and set again. In these combinations, pure forms seem to aquire a life of their own. In her art the particular sense of spirituality is created, which has an oriental Zen like quality about it. A circle can be used to symbolize Mother Earth or the planet Mercury. Gold can evoke a spiritual search for divine, non created light.
