No Enmarcado Hawaiian Koa wood frame
Firmado a Mano Lower left
Procedencia / Historia: Purchased of his exhibitions in San Francisco in 1981 (at the Lawrence Gallery). The title of the painting is “Lady Meiko of Autumnâ€. There were four original paintings of the Lady Meiko figure, with one for each of the four seasons. This painting is from the period that many people believe was the peak of Otsuka’s technical and artistic skills (the early 1980’s). At the suggestion of the artist the painting is framed in a fine grained Hawaiian Koa wood, which was performed by a professional museum quality framer located in Hawaii.
